Join us for a traditional Midsummer celebration 19 June at Kulturens Östarp! Enjoy a dance around the maypole and take the opportunity to find out more about Gamlegård, our historic farmstead. Gamlegård and Östarps summer café are open from 12:00-17:00. Free admission!

Program
12:00–17:00 Gamlegård is open.
14:15–14:30 Help us decorate the maypole! Dress the maypole with your own flowers, then raise it together with the Tornabygden folk dancers.
14:30–15:15 Midsummer song and dance around the maypole, led by Johan Romin.
15:15–15:45 Folk dance display with the Tornabygden folk dancers.
Visitors can see a variety of heritage livestock breeds at Gamlegård, and enjoy the beautiful cultural landscape by following the Östarp Trail.
Bring your own flowers to decorate the maypole with!
Summer Café or picnic
Östarp’s Summer Café is open 12:00-17:00 and serves hot and cold beverages, cakes and pastries, sandwiches and soup.
Visitors are also welcome to bring their own picnic and enjoy it on the grounds. Please note that barbecuing is not permitted.
Parking
Parking costs 50 SEK, proceeds go to the Lions Club Romeleåsen. Please note: only Swish payments and cash accepted!
