The rolling landscape around Gamlegård is great for walking. The Östarp Trail is a walk of 1.8 km and is designed as an introduction to the heritage landscape and the history of Östarp.
The trail starts at Östarp Hall (Östarpshallen), next to the parking place. You can also pick up your trail leaflet (in Swedish or English) here.
The route is waymarked by posts with a yellow top and little red clogs. Look for the red numbered signs marked Östarpsspåret/The Östarp Trail as you walk. Stop at each sign and read what the leaflet says about that particular location.
