Fika – The History of Swedish Coffee Culture (in English)

Kulturen i Lund – Tegnérsplatsen 6, 223 50 Lund
lördag 18 juli 13:00 – 13:30

Join our guide Jessica Ljung for a tour exploring how people enjoyed the traditional Swedish coffee break, or 'fika', in the past!

We visit several historic homes along the way: the Västra Vram’s Vicarage (1750s), the Thomander House (1830s), and the Worker’s Home (1930s). Learn more about how the ’fika’ evolved over the centuries and came to include both coffee drinking and cake eating.

Fancy a fika after the tour? Our cosy café is open until 16:30 today!

The tour is included in the admission fee. Places are limited, so please book your ticket in advance to secure your spot. Tour starts from the back of the White House (the main entrance building) – look for the meeting point sign.
